The 15-minute order

1. Clear and spray (2 minutes)

Take everything off the counter, the bath edge and the shower shelves. Spray the shower, bath, sink and toilet with cleaner and leave it. Letting the cleaner sit is what saves the scrubbing.

2. Toilet bowl (1 minute)

Squirt toilet cleaner under the rim and leave it to work too.

3. Dust and dry surfaces (2 minutes)

While everything soaks, dust the light, shelves and the top of the cabinet. Shake out the bath mat.

4. Shower and bath (4 minutes)

Scrub, starting at the top and working down, then rinse. Wipe glass with the second cloth.

Electric spin scrubber

Takes the effort out of scrubbing tiles and the bath.

5. Sink and counter (2 minutes)

Wipe the sink, taps and counter. Polish the mirror with the glass cloth.

6. Toilet (2 minutes)

Scrub the bowl, flush, then wipe the outside from top to bottom: lid, seat, base. Always do the toilet last with its own cloth.

7. Floor and reset (2 minutes)

Put things back, hang a fresh towel, quickly mop or wipe the floor, empty the bin.

Monthly extras

Once a month add: grout, shower head descaling, washing the shower curtain and bath mat, and the exhaust fan cover. They're all on the monthly deep cleaning checklist.

Safety: never mix bleach-based cleaners with acidic cleaners or vinegar, and keep the window open or the fan on while you clean.
